ModVision ("we", "us") is a browser-based car configurator. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. We aim to collect as little as possible.
Your saved builds, selected options, region/units preferences, and (if you enable AI features)
your own AI API key are stored locally in your browser's localStorage on your device.
This data is not transmitted to us unless you explicitly use a feature that requires it.
If you choose to create an account, authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase. We store your email address, a username, and content you post to the community area. You can request deletion of your account and associated content at any time (see Contact).
AI suggestions are optional and use an API key you supply. That key is stored only in your browser and is sent directly from your browser to the AI provider (Anthropic) when you use the feature. We never receive or store your key.
ModVision earns commissions when you buy through some outbound "Buy" links. When you click one, you leave our site and the retailer (and their affiliate network) may set cookies or record the referral to attribute the sale. We also load fonts, libraries, and embedded videos from third parties (Google Fonts, jsDelivr, YouTube). Those services have their own privacy policies.
Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR/CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To exercise these, contact us. You can also clear all locally stored data any time via Settings → Clear saved builds or your browser's site-data controls.
ModVision is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
