This page explains how ModVision uses cookies and similar browser storage.

Short version: ModVision itself doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. We use your browser's local storage to remember your builds and settings. Some third-party services we rely on (or that you click through to) may set their own cookies.

1. Local storage (not cookies, but similar)

We store your saved builds, preferences (units, region, theme), and any AI key you choose to add in your browser's localStorage. This stays on your device and is essential for the configurator to remember your work. You can clear it any time via Settings → Clear saved builds or your browser settings.

2. Accounts

If you sign in, our authentication provider (Supabase) sets a session token in your browser so you stay logged in. Removing it logs you out.

3. Third-party services

We load some resources from third parties that may set their own cookies or storage:

Google Fonts — typography.
jsDelivr — JavaScript libraries.
YouTube — embedded videos (only when you play one).
Retailer / affiliate links — when you click a "Buy" link, the destination store and its affiliate network may set cookies to attribute the referral.

These services operate under their own cookie and privacy policies.

4. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies and clear site data through your browser's settings. Note that clearing local storage will remove your saved builds.
